Wednesday surprise!
So this is something new I'm trying out. To be completely honest with you, I'm still a bit conflicted about it. I was approached by Lingoda to create a comic that they would sponsor, but it's really important to me that you, the readers, don't just get a bunch of advertising in your feed. You're here for comics, not ads! That's why this site has been conspicuously ad-free for a long time.
However, I figured that a sponsored comic would be acceptable if: 1) the advertising wasn't too in-your-face, 2) it was still a genuine Itchy Feet comic in every other way, and 3) it didn't replace the regular Sunday comics.
What are your thoughts? Is this just more delicious Itchy Feet content for you to enjoy, or shameful exploitation of the bean-shaped comic arts? I am really interested to hear what you think.

My intention was absolutely not to offend anyone - this was clearly a joke gone wrong. But it's good to keep up my failures as well, to remind me in the future that sometimes I make mistakes.

With your incredible support through Patreon, I was able to save up and buy an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. It's freakin' amazing to use for drawing! This is the first comic I made with it, and I think it turned out okay. I'm still getting used to it and I'm sure I'll get better as I go (feedback welcome!). But I know this will be game-changing for the future. So thank you very much, patrons!
Another fun feature of the iPad is the ability to save videos of my drawing as I create it. It's a fun insight into my process, if that interests you at all. Just Do It

I listened to your feedback about the text last week, so I'm trying something new. The vast majority of comics out there use text in ALL CAPS, simply because it's easier on the eyes. I always wanted to phase into that eventually anyway, so here's a first try. I think it's a little thick and large, but much easier to read than last week, wouldn't you say?
